Don't throw out those potato skins! If you have never tried baking or air-frying up your potato skins then you really need too. They are absolutely delicious, crispy, crunchy delicious potatoes and saves something that would otherwise end up in the bin!

These will be your new way to use those left over potato skins, and will become a family favourite. They are crispy and crunchy and just all round delicious
Ingredients
-
Left over Potato skins from your potatoes I used about 5 potatoes for mine
-
1/2 tsp Garlic powder,
-
½ Tsp Onion powder
-
½ Tsp Sweet Paprika
-
1 tsp of Italian Herbs
-
1 Tbsp Olive Oil
-
Salt and Pepper to taste
Directions
Pre-heat your oven to 180c
Once you have washed & peeled your potatoes* pop the skins in a bowl & coat in olive oil and your fav spices I have listed mine above in the ingredients
Then spread out on a baking tray with baking paper, spread them out so they aren't overlapping and flat
Cook for about 25-35 mins or until golden brown and crispy, this will depend on how thick or big the skins are. But watch these ones as they cook. I always check mine after 10-15 mins as they can go from cooked to burnt quickly and if you slice your skins quite thin they will not take long at all. If you have some that are cooking quicker you can take them out earlier
Take them out and add some salt & pepper to taste and eat right away, as they are small they are best eaten hot. Serve with your fav dipping sauce

And saves them going in the bin 👌 Advent Calendar Recipe Countdown Day 13: Crispy Potato Skins Save this one to make and follow @_ashleysplace_ along for more Christmas inspo I don’t always peel my potatoes but when I do this is what I make 😋 How to make them: 🥔 preheat your oven to 180c & Peel your potatoes I prefer a knife over a peeler but you do what works I peeled about 5 for this one, and add the skins to a bowl 🥔 Add about 1 good tap of olive oil & 1/2 tsp of garlic powder, onion powder, sweet paprika and 1 tsp of Italian Herbs. Give it a good mix 🥔 Add the skins to a tray with bigger ones on the outside and smaller on the inside as but all spread in one layer don’t overlap them 🥔 Cook way for between 25-35 mins this really depends on the size and thickness. Recipe Note
- Keep your eyes on these as they are cooking as they can burn if you leave them too long
- You can even freeze these if you don't want to eat them at the same time as the potatoes and simply cook them when you feel like it. They would be a great snack too
- I used a knife to peel mine I find a peeler gives smaller bits where as a knife I can make it a bit bigger of a piece while still being thin
