Summer tomatoes have the BEST flavour but sometimes you might have some left over tomatoes from the week or maybe even have some that are just a little to soft to eat so they end up going in the bin.
But don’t throw them away they are perfect to roast up & cook with!
You’ve seen the tomato and yogurt dip we shared and these are perfect for that. I also use alot of roasted tomatoes in soups in winter or for sauces.
And since tomatoes have so much flavour in Summer because they are in season its a great time to freeze them up ready for the winter
Pop them in a stasher bag, zip lock bag, container whatever you’ve got and keep them for when you need them over the winter period.
They last in the freezer for 12 months so no need to rush to use them 😍. And it helps reduce your food waste and save you money by not throwing things out but also not having to buy them out of season when they are expensive and not the best flavour.
